There are two stages in the selection procedure for the sub inspector in the CAPFs. The stages are as follows:

Features of the SSC SI Exam pattern 2016
There would be two papers in the written examination to be conducted in the month of March and May/June.
The questions in the Paper 1 and Paper 2 are objective in nature.
In the Paper 1, total number of questions asked is 200 questions carrying 1 mark each. Similarly the same is repeated in the Paper 2.
There is also provision for the negative marking which is equal to 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
